The # 1 Advertising Mistake. Are you doing this?

Here are a few advertising tips to help you out as well.

1. As a general rule PAID advertising produces better results than free advertising. The sites we have listed in your Member area are sites that we recommend for both FREE and PAID ads. If your budget is small do free ads, as you can integrate some paid advertising too.

2. Pay attention to two things when you get your leads from your advertising. First make sure the leads are from countries like USA, Canada, and Europe for best responses to your offers. Secondly be sure to check the IP’s (if provided) with the sign ups. The IP addresses should be UNIQUE, if they are all the same IP, chances are that the sign ups are being generated from a computer not an actual person. Be wary of leads that come in with a “pattern” meaning they all have the same type of name, place of origin, or odd characters in the name fields.

3. Advertise DAILY! Promote! Promote! Promote! Do this at a number of sites, exchanges, safelists, blogs, forums, classifieds, social networking sites, and newsletters. When it comes to promotion, your job is never done.

Here’s the interview with Johan Willems

Question: Johan, how long have you been an online marketer, or working to build your own online business?

Answer: Actually I started when i joined Worldprofit, about 18 months ago. I was just looking for a way to get traffic,
but I got so much more. Before that, I studied the matter very closely. But I was studying the wrong material, all those ‘get rich quick schemes’
that ended up in my spam folder, which was my favorite ’email literature’ at that time. I had been a Unix System Administrator for quite
some years and thought I knew it all. But the fact was: I knew nothing – especially on the matter of Internet Marketing.
I was still ignorant enough to believe that one website with a couple of clickbank affiliate products would be profitable.

Question: Johan, can you tell us how much time you spend promoting to build your business?

Answer: As much as I possibly can. The first reason for me to get involved with IM is my wife.
She has a disease that can’t be cured. She has her ups and downs, but she’d rather have me taking care of her than some nurse she hardly knows.
So I divide my time between household and taking care of my wife, and I spend the rest of my time at my online business.
I love working at night, without any distractions. And since i live in Europe, it’s the perfect way to adjust myself to the different timezones we’re in.

Question: Johan, what kind of promotion do you do? Free? Paid? Both?

Answer: I do both. I am investing more now in paid traffic, which is not a bad thing at all. After all I’m building my list. But it’s perfectly possible to invest,
making a good profit, and injecting half of what I earn back into my business.

Question: Johan, which Worldprofit services do you find the most useful in building your online business?

Answer: That’s a difficult question, because our Worldprofit backoffice is really stuffed with nothing but good, solid tools. Everything you need is right there:
the bootcamp training sessions, the prebuilt landingpages, cloaking/masking tools, incentives, automation tools.. But what really struck me from the beginning
was that a live person started talking to me when i first entered the Live Business Center. I also have great respect for the Worldprofit support team.
I also learned a lot from the other members, everyone is really being supportive.

Question: Johan, what advise or suggestions do you have for someone very new to Worldprofit who is eager to build their online business?

Answer: Never give up. It’s like playing chess – thinking 3 steps ahead. You really have to think about your business on a long term basis.
I gave up once, but I came back.. because I realized the following: if you’re not capable of building a successful business with the help and training of Worldprofit,
you’re not going to make it in ANY business!! And of course: follow the bootcamp to the letter, and apply what you have learned.
I want to thank Sandi Hunter, working the accounts department in the background, but always open for questions, her responses always being friendly but straightforward.
You can actually FEEL that she’s supporting us. I’d like to thank George Kosch, for all the tools and training he’s providing us.
He’s a genius, AND one of the few "Guru’s" out there who is not afraid of sharing all his knowledge. And last but not least I want to thank Dr Lant, for being so direct,
honest, always mentoring us Monitors, making us feel more and more self confident. For sticking his neck out when he’s writing another daring article on matters many
authors wouldn’t even dare to touch. I regard him as one of my best friends.
I don’t know what the heck I would be doing online without the help of Worldprofit, but I know one thing for sure: I’m far better of now than I was 18 months ago!

Instructor, George Kosch welcomed participants to the LIVE training session.

George kicked off the training by stating that a number of Members aren’t following the training and aren’t doing ANY promotion. This is shocking, because it doesn’t matter what program you are in, if you aren’t promoting you aren’t making sales.

George was frank in today’s remarks saying, I must be doing something wrong in my teaching. Every week I talk about promotion. I tell you what you must DO to make sales. I explain the importance of building a list. I show you where the best places are to advertise to get results. We provide you with ad examples, landing pages, banners, ad trackers and bonus builders for offers. It’s just not sinking in, so for the next 30 minutes, I am going to try a different angle to drill in the basics of what you need to do, to promote so you can make sales."

99% of your effort should be in getting people into your "shop". What’s your shop? The various landing pages for the various products and services. Why do you want to do this? The LIFE of your business is the number of leads you generate. Leads are what generate sales. Too may people focus on the wrong things when they first start their business by focusing on tasks that are not directly related to promotion and sales. Your first priority is knowing how to generate leads. Understand the basics of promotion, lead generation and list building and you can apply these skills to building ANY ONLINE business. If you don’t understand the basics you will FAIL in any and all businesses you do.

Here’s what you should do now to get on track.

1. Watch the two TRAINING videos for Beginners. Progress through the other lessons with careful study not speed. Take notes as you listen.

2. Start doing your promotions using the landing pages (ad examples) and trusted advertising sources provided in your member area.

3. Attend the LIVE bootcamp training sessions every week, OR, watch the recorded version if that is more convenient for you.

4. Commit to learning the basics, and learning new concepts every day, and doing your promotions consistently, every day if possible.

Become a NUMBERS Junkie!

1. Use the Ad Tracker to keep track of the number of clicks to your ads.
2. Keep track of the number of LEADS you generate each day.
3. Keep track of how many Associates you sign up each day.
4. Keep track of how many subscribers you have on your internal list, and your external lists.
5. Keep track of your sales numbers, per day, per week, per month.

Focus ONLY on tasks that will INCREASE your numbers above. Increasing your numbers increases your sales probabilities. People new to online marketing often don’t understand how much CONSISTENT promotion it takes to generate sales.
